It works closely with executives from all areas of the logistics market on requirements for the design of our global transportation management solutions. Each team member possesses a practical knowledge in the logistics areas that MercuryGate addresses. Their expertise covers operations, development, project management, operations research, consulting, product management, marketing as well as others – all in the logistics arena. Monica WoodenMonica Wooden
CEO | Co-Founder

Monica B. Wooden is CEO & Co-founder of MercuryGate International, Inc. (2000-Present). Monica is a dynamic leader and skilled strategist, who has “done it before”. Monica has steadily developed MercuryGate into what customers and analysts say is one of the most sophisticated and possibly the most flexible TMS solutions available today and has carved out a unique place in the market where other TMS developers said it was not possible. Despite the fast-paced growth, MercuryGate remains a flat organization that has not strayed from its TMS roots. Monica has created a culture of passionately delivering very successful, customized business solutions for each of her clients while building a high level of customer satisfaction. MercuryGate supports its clients to meet their strategic goals while overcoming the demands of a rapidly changing marketplace. Her drive to make a positive contribution to the world has been passed on to her employees by making it their mission to streamline the global supply chain, one client at a time. The bonds forged with clients speak for themselves, as they become MercuryGate’s greatest advocates.

Monica is a member of the Committee of 200. The Committee of 200 is an invitation-only membership organization of the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. In past years, she has also been recognized in Forbes, Southeast Women in Business, and she received the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Southeast region. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and a Master’s from the University of Georgia. She has two children and resides in Tampa, FL.

As a Custom Application Development Competency Leader for IBM Global Services, Steve Blough led domestic and international consulting engagements for clients with supply chain management initiatives. Combining industry knowledge with his technology background, Steve re-engineers logistics business processes and transforms complex business requirements into innovative designs for information systems. As MercuryGate’s chief architect, Steve has designed a collaborative communications and data platform that allowed supply chain participants to manage their transportation needs on a real-time basis. Steve has over 25 years of experience in the design, development, and integration of supply chain information systems that have resulted in dramatically lower logistics costs for his client companies.


Carl CoeCarl Coe
Chief Operating Officer | COO

Carl Coe is MercuryGate’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) with responsibility for sales, marketing, and customer success. He has a proven track record of developing and implementing effective sales and operating strategies, cultivating lasting customer relationships while building and leading high performing teams. Prior to joining MercuryGate, Carl was Chief Revenue Officer of HireVue, leading a team of 70 professionals. During his career, he has also served as Senior Vice President of the Americas at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), a leader in enterprise product lifecycle management software. Carl is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Economics.

Chief Financial Officer | CFO

Dan Graham is MercuryGate’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his role, Dan’s strategic focus is to support each functional area to ensure MercuryGate achieves its business objectives. Dan has extensive experience in the software industry, beginning his career at Free Markets and serving for 10 years after the company was acquired by Ariba. Prior to joining MercuryGate, Dan served as CFO for Scytl Electronic Voting S. A., based in Barcelona, Spain. Dan is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Imperial College in London, England, with degrees in finance and marketing.

Chief Technology Officer | CTO

Rajesh Ramchander serves as MercuryGate’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with responsibility for the company’s development team. An accomplished leader in the engineering field, Rajesh has more than 20 years of experience in delivering high-quality Software as a Service (SaaS) products and solutions as well as leading and motivating large global engineering teams. Rajesh previously served as Vice President of Engineering for Genesys (formerly Angel.com). In his role there, he led and grew the engineering division by building and deploying multi-tenant SaaS-based customer experience products and solutions. Rajesh holds a Master of Science degree in computer science/applications and electrical engineering from Virginia Tech. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Osmania University in India.

Ronny Kemp
Vice President | Operations

Ronny Kemp is a results-oriented leader who has extensive application development experience and proven success in managing people and tasks for information technology projects across various industries. Ronny joined MercuryGate in 2010 and has over 15 years of experience in team building, planning, execution and control of large-scale software projects. He manages the resources, release schedules and quality assurance of the software deployment process to ensure projects are delivered successfully. Prior to joining MercuryGate, Ronny served as Director of Professional Services and Senior Project Manager for Sapiens Americas since 1998. While there, he was responsible for all aspects of the delivery organization. He has also served as a Sr. Systems Administrator for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration/business communications from Mount Saint Mary’s College and a Masters Certificate in IT Project Management from George Washington University.


Jeanne-BauerJeanne Bauer
Vice President | Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Jeanne Bauer is responsible for developing and implementing strategic human resources programs for talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits and other related policies and programs. Throughout her career, Jeanne has served as a strategic human resources partner to organizational leadership, including the C-level, and has driven positive change in the human resources functions and organizations that she has supported. Prior to joining MercuryGate, Jeanne was employed by the Lenovo Group, where she successfully planned and managed a variety of transformational human resources projects, including compensation and talent acquisition. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations.


Shanon Hart
Vice President | Product Management

Shanon has worked in a variety of roles in her career, spanning everything from software development to product management to logistics implementations. She began her career at JB Hunt Transport in the automotive division after college graduation and within two years became part of a small team who started the JB Hunt Logistics division, where they successfully implemented clients such as JCPenney, AutoZone, and Tandy Computers. As part of that team, she developed software to manage the first clients, handled all client reporting, and became the director of client implementations. She left JB Hunt to again become part of a three-person team to start a logistics division at Cardinal Logistics in North Carolina. As part of the team, and while specifically overseeing client implementations, systems development, and freight payment and audit, she also participated in all sales & marketing activities.

After several years of helping to build another successful logistics division, in 2001 she saw the need to provide easy-to-use, affordable transportation software to mid-market shippers, and the opportunity to deliver it in a SaaS model. She helped procure funding through venture capital for a new entity, Clicklogistics. As Chief Knowledge Officer, she designed the new software system from the ground up to achieve her vision. After the company was sold, she provided marketing and software development consulting to third-party logistics companies, accepting a position in new product development for Transportation Insight three years later. The opportunity to get back into the software arena presented itself three years later, and she became part of the MercuryGate team in 2010.

Chief Marketing Officer | CMO

Karen Sage is MercuryGate’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) responsible for the company’s global marketing, communications, sales enablement, and go-to-market efforts. She is a veteran with 20+ years of experience in business-to-business marketing and communications helping several industry leaders launch disruptive new categories, accelerate revenue growth, build leadership brands, and establish marketing organizations that scale globally. She comes to MercuryGate most recently from the spend management solution provider, SciQuest. Prior to SciQuest, she was at CA Technologies where she served as vice president of marketing leading rapid growth initiatives. Her experiences leading growth also include multiple leadership roles during a 15-year stint at Cisco. Karen started her career having invented the NETSYS Performance tools at NETSYS Technologies, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco in 1996.
