Gayle Crowell is based in San Francisco and has been a senior business consultant on the technology, media and telecommunications team since joining Warburg Pincus in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Crowell was President and CEO of RightPoint Software, acquired by E.piphany in January 2000.
Previously, Ms. Crowell held senior executive roles at Oracle Corporation, E.piphany, RightPoint Software, View Star, Mosaix, Recognition International, DSC, and Cubix Corporation. Ms. Crowell graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nevada at Reno with a B.A., has completed post-graduate work at the University of California-Irvine and Berkeley, and is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Education CEO Program.
She is a director of Yodlee (YDLE), Dude Solutions, MercuryGate and Coyote Logistics. In addition, Ms. Crowell is the co-founder of ConservingNow.com, a trustee of the Desert Research Foundation, and chairman of Watermark, a non-profit organization of leading Silicon Valley woman CEOs and C-level executives.
