Chad Hicks
Chief Information Security Officer
Chad Hicks, Chief Information Security Officer at MercuryGate, has over 15 years of combined experience in all facets of IT and Security. He previously worked at XPO Logistics as a Business Information Security Officer and has significant experience working in the transportation and logistics industry. Chad holds numerous industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications, including CISSP, CISM, and CCSP.
Chad leads our security team’s efforts complying with all related industry regulations and leading our SOC1, SOC2, and ISO27001 compliance programs. As a risk-driven leader, Chad works closely with our infrastructure and development teams to ensure cybersecurity is considered and implemented at all phases of product development.
He obtained a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Information Security and Assurance, in addition to his undergraduate work in Computer Information Systems from Concord University.
